CHASLEN OSLER

 

Chaslen Allorhian Osler was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where she performed works by artists such as Larry Keigwin, Clifford Williams, Dwight Rhoden, and Bridget L. Moore. She later graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University with a B.F.A. in dance. She performed in works from Elijah Alhadji Gibson, Andy Noble, Maurice Causey, and many more.
Over the years, Chaslen has trained with Galen Hooks, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Dallas Ballet Center, and the Buildabeast intensive in Los Angeles. She has performed at Jacobs Pillow, and the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in Elijah Alhadji Gibson’s work “We Are Greenwood!”. Post graduation, Chaslen has taught at Preston Center Dance, Parish Episcopal School, Niaps Spain Dance Space, KD Conservatory, and guest taught at Booker T. Washington HSPVA
