Aminah Maddox, Dallas native, is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Dance and BS in Exercise Science. She is an alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Among others, Aminah has had the pleasure to perform works by Robert Battle, Rennie Harris, Sidra Bell, Dwight D. Rhoden, and Takehiro Ueyama. In 2016, she performed at the American College Dance Association’s National Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center. She has recently performed with Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s: Encore for their ‘17/’18 season, and performed for Mary Kay Cosmetics in their annual Summer Seminar.
